Day One: The 2 day Moreton Magic Tour, takes in the northern half of the island with overnight stay in dorm style accommodation in the seaside Village of Bulwer, on the Western beach. Sit back on the white sandy beach in the late afternoon and watch the beautiful sunset over the Glass house mountain. Arriving on the island at 10am on the first day you will be taken to your unit, then we will head off down the Western beach to the desert for sand boarding, followed by a stop at the Whaling Station at Tangalooma Resort, for a look at the old flemsing dock, then onto the Tangalooma wrecks for a snorkel with tropical fish. We will also have a climb on the Moreton sand dunes of False Patch. Heading back towards Bulwer we will pass through the old township of Cowan Cowan which was the army base during the World War 2. We arrive back in Bulwer just in time to see a spectacular sunset over the Glass House Mountains. After dragging ourselves away from the beauty of the Cape we head down the Eastern Beach past aboriginal Middens to the Sea free lake of Blue Lagoon, for a relaxing swim in the soothing waters. We then head back across the Blue Lagoon, track past Honeyeater Lake, through the pictures track to Bulwer for the ferry cruise back across Moreton Bay, to the Mainland.
